The Weekend That Kicked My Ass!

Once again.. I'm not the best at timely updates!

Went to Montreal this past weekend and caught three shows. Each one so amazing. Other than wishing they went on for weeks at a time, no complaints! I now plan on attending Pop Montreal annually!

Dragonette - Pick Up The Phone
Fantastic song! Make sure to do a hypem search on them to get the remixes - fantastic! Liar is my favourite as of right now!

Next we have the phenomenal Fever Ray. Here is the video for Seven. Another song with some good remixes. My personal fave is the CSS remix.

And last but certainly NOT least, Ruby Jean and the Thoughtful Bees. While there are no music videos, take a listen to Danse Danse Resolution. RBATTB debut album is fabulous. They also put on a live show like you wouldn't believe.

If I was rich I'd buy everyone tickets to all those shows... but I'm not :)

Fever Ray!

Oh.. the one Girl I can't stop talking about! I posted about Fever Ray back in March but need to revisit this!

I have tickets to the Montreal concert Oct 1st and looking forward to it. Been reading reviews on the live show and it's definitely my most anticipated concert ever.
Here are a few videos. First one is If I Had A Heart. I like it halfway through when Karin Dreijer Andersson turns off the voice vocoder and her voice comes out!

Triangle Walks

Coconut - not an official video, but love the song!

When I Grow Up
... already posted this.. but it doesn't hurt to show again!

Fever Ray - When I Grow Up

So.. great song, disturbing video!

Karin Dreijer Andersson of The Knife has a new Solo Project, Fever Ray. What a voice!
